Ahmedabad 21st January 2025: The School of Management, Commerce, and Liberal Arts (SMCLA) at Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University successfully concluded a special session on ethical advertising on Friday at the university’s Seminar Hall. The session was conducted by representatives from the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI), Mumbai, the country’s sole regulatory body for advertising practices across all sectors.
The session was led by Ms. Namrata Bachani, Academic Director, ASCI e-learning, and Ms. Aditi Hingu, Master Trainer, ASCI, Mumbai. It provided valuable insights into the implementation of ASCI guidelines by industries, advertisers, influencers, marketers, public sector undertakings (PSUs), and government entities.
The session concluded with a vote of appreciation delivered by Dr. Sourbhi Chaturvedi, Dean, SMCLA, and Dr. Shashikant Bhagat, Head, School of Journalism and Mass Communication and Department of Liberal Arts.
