Ahmedabad, August 06, 2025: ITC Hotels proudly announces the appointment of Akshay Kavra as the new General Manager of ITC Narmada, a Luxury Collection hotel in the heart of Ahmedabad. A seasoned hotelier with a strong foundation in hospitality and over 18 years of experience, Akshay brings with him deep operational expertise, strategic leadership, and a commitment to excellence in guest experience.
Akshay’s association with ITC Hotels began early. A graduate of the prestigious Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration (WGSHA), Manipal, he later joined the Management Trainee Programme at the renowned Hotel Management Institute (HMI), formerly known as WMI — a stepping stone that launched his journey within ITC Hotels, one of India’s most respected luxury hospitality chains.
Over the years, Akshay has held key leadership roles across several iconic ITC Hotels, including ITC Grand Chola (Chennai), ITC Sonar (Kolkata), ITC Mughal (Agra), Sheraton New Delhi, and the legendary ITC Maurya (New Delhi). Across each property, he has demonstrated a consistent ability to elevate service standards, foster high-performing teams, and drive guest satisfaction with precision and poise.
