Ahmedabad, May 26,2026: IPE Global, a leading international development consultancy, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the GESIA IT Association (Gujarat Electronics & Software Industries Association) to advance the She Works initiative, a programme dedicated to strengthening women’s participation, retention, leadership, and long-term career progression in Gujarat’s technology sector.
The MoU was signed on the occasion of the GESIA Women Tech Wing marking an inspiring two-year journey of growth and impact, a milestone that reflects the wing’s sustained efforts to create skilling opportunities, visibility, mentorship, and opportunity for women across the State’s IT and software industry. The collaboration comes at a time when Gujarat’s digital and technology ecosystem is witnessing rapid expansion across emerging sectors and increasing demand for a future-ready workforce.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashish Mukherjee, Director, Social & Economic Empowerment at IPE Global Ltd, said, “This partnership with GESIA is a meaningful step forward in our shared commitment to women’s economic empowerment. IPE Global and GESIA will work together to identify emerging job opportunities, skills requirement and workforce needs in the technology sector, support knowledge resources, create awareness for inclusive hiring, strengthen industry engagement and commitment, and build stronger pathways from skilling to formal employment for women.
GESIA women in tech wing was launched in year 2024, Satyarth Srivastava, Honorary Chairman and Director, GESIA, said, “We are delighted to formalise our partnership with IPE Global through the She Works initiative. As part of the partnership, both the organizations will work on expanding career pathways for women in the technology sector, enabling skill-building, mentorship, and industry linkages, driving inclusive hiring and workplace practices across GESIA member organisations & strengthening the pipeline of women leaders shaping the future of Gujarat’s tech ecosystem.
